Shri. M. P. VijayaKumar, former Executive Director (Fleet and Network Planning), Air India, has joined as Member, Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India on 11.03.2010. During the last three decades of his service in India Airlines initially, and later in Air India after the merger of the two Airlines, he has been responsible for several airline management functions such as traffic forecasting, airline network development, flight scheduling, co-ordination with airports, fleet modernization, economic analysis and MIS development.

Shri. M. P. Vijayakumar holds a M.Sc. degree in Physics with Electronics as specialization and also done a M.Sc. degree in Statistics with specialization in Operations Research.
